"No wind is favorable for the sailor who does not know where to go" (L.A. Seneca)

The Giovanni Fattori Civic Museum is, like the City Museum, among the facilities assigned to the Libraries and Museums Office of the Municipality of Livorno.
Heir to more than 150 years of history, the Museum preserves and displays in the nineteenth-century Villa Mimbelli a collection, mainly of paintings, ranging from the mid-1800s to the 1940s, with important groups of artists from Livorno (Fattori, Corcos, Nomellini etc.) and some works by Tuscan and other artists (Lega, Signorini, Boldini etc.).
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
